About the Photographer
As the daughter of an author, sister of a music producer, E. Ashley Green has had art all around her all her life. She is a self-taught artist from Durham, North Carolina. After graduating from high school, she continued her education at North Carolina A&T State University. While at A&T she majored in Journalism of Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Production. She discovered her artistic talent in 2002 while in college. At NC A&T SU she took several art and psychology classes as electives and later developed her talent after graduation.
With a communications background her artwork and photography tend to tell a story. She considers herself a story teller. Ashley has an art studio for painting and has a mobile photography studio as well. The art studio is located in Durham, NC the photography studio is mobile for your convenience.
From the Artist:
I'm an ex model turned Artist and Photographer. I love all art in general. I like to paint it, I enjoy capturing art through my lens, and I can't get enough of singing and listening to music.
My style varies and consists of mostly contemporary abstracts to landscapes. My inspirations come from the beauty in everyday life. Each day I am thinking of something to paint. I listen to live poetry and spoken word on a regular basis for added ideas and inspirations.
Shout out to all those expressing themselves through art. It's the best feeling out there. Releasing yourself in your most creative spirit! Keep at it. Stay with it. Get lost in it. |
